About THE SONG
The Tide Keeps Better Time was inspired by someone who made a weekly habit of visiting the coast every Sunday, originally just for light exercise and coffee.
For a few hours every Sunday, the noise of the working world fell away, replaced by the sound of waves, wind, and open space. Those visits became a reminder of what life felt like beyond the endless rush — a ritual that continues to this day.
Deadlines, meetings, climbing the ladder, and the endless race to stay ahead are part of the systems we have created for ourselves, yet they are not life itself, despite the time and importance we often give them.
With each visit, his perspective shifted a little more. Away from the noise, the ocean asked nothing of him. The wind didn't care about his credentials, and the tide kept its own rhythm, untouched by the pace of the working world. In those moments, he found himself returning to something simpler and more real.
Sometimes the most meaningful moments aren't defined by how far we climb or how fast we run, but in the moments that ask nothing of us except to be there.
